A little bit of an embarrassment for Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary.

He was asked at a hearing why he switched his wife's flight from coming out of Newark Airport,

which is an absolute mess and a disaster, to LaGuardia.

In other words, was he certifying that Newark Airport is safe except when it comes to a family member? Well, he acknowledged doing this, but he said

had nothing to do with safety that because of the delays, of course, the delays, crippling delays

that he's in charge of fixing, he needed her to reach an event by a certain time,

and therefore switched airports just to make sure the flight got out more quickly,

not because of any problems at Newark.

Meanwhile, I may have been popping the champagne corks a little early

when the Knicks took a three-to to one lead over the Boston Celtics,

the world champion Boston Celtics. Boston blew out the Knicks last night. So now that lead

has gone from three games to one to three games to two, next game at Madison Square Garden.

Sometimes you can feel the momentum shifting, which is why I didn't actually drink

champagne when the three-to-one lead was in effect.
