It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

Man, it's one of those weeks we just say, it's Friday.

I'm sure we've all had weeks like that.

And I'm looking forward to the next couple of days.

Yeah, I got to work and do the show and all that.

But it's Friday, folks.

And this is unbelievable.

You know, of all the tension that is focused on Newark Airport and the lack of air traffic controllers there,

well, now it happened at the Denver airport where for about 90 seconds, planes were taken off or landing with no guidance, zero, zip, nada, from air traffic controllers.

How does this happen?

Obviously, this is years in the making.

I would love to see Pete Buttigieg asked about this, former transportation

secretary, now gearing up to run for president, as well as the guy who has the job now,

Sean Duffy, who has been, you know, testifying about it. It's scary stuff.

And, you know, are we going to wait until there's some kind of mid-air collision,

as obviously happened at Washington National Airport some months ago,

a horrifying accident, obviously was an accident, a horrifying episode.

It just seems like, almost like in a heartbeat, maybe, you know, all the insiders knew about this,

and you could probably find some articles that were written, but it wasn't really a story until Newark spun out of control, and now we have Denver, or are there going to be other airports where this happens as well? Well, now that I've gotten us all in a good mood, let me dive here

into story number one. And let me begin by saying, this is about the stupidest thing I could imagine anybody doing, let

alone the former director of the FBI, James Comey.

I mean, this just almost defies credulity that what he did, why would anybody do that?
