0:14.3	This Sunday, the Catholic Church gives us one of my favorite gospel readings.
0:18.7	It comes from the Gospel of John, chapter 11, and it's the story of the raising of Lazarus.
0:24.4	Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead.
0:28.6	This has done many miracles.
0:30.5	He has multiplied lows and fishes.
0:32.3	He's walked on water.
0:33.5	He's cured the sick, but this is going to be the greatest of the miracles we're going
0:38.2	to see.
0:39.2	And I'm going to explain why.
0:40.2	But it's also so important for us in our Lenton journey, because we're going to see
0:43.9	there's a close connection between what happens in this story and Jesus's death.
0:48.7	We're going to see that this story of the raising of Lazarus is the catalyst for the
0:53.2	chief priest to conspire against Jesus and bring him to his end.
0:57.6	And so if you want to get ready spiritually for Holy Week, if you want to get your heart
1:01.7	and mind ready for the climax of our Lenton journey, you really need to know this story
1:07.1	that the church gives us here in this upcoming Sunday, the story of the raising of Lazarus.
1:12.3	There's so much here, so much every little detail is packed with so much meeting, and
