Offer it up! Carry your cross! These aren’t bad things to do, but our response to suffering can be even greater. There is so much that can come from our suffering, from carrying our crosses. Dr. Sri describes what fruit can come from not just bearing our crosses, but embracing them.

0:22.2	It took many years, and he poured his heart into making these beautiful stations, and then
0:26.9	one day the Communist come and destroy the whole thing.
0:30.8	All the work of his hands, all of his heart, was just destroyed in a single day.
0:36.1	You know what that Polish priest said when that happened?
0:38.4	He said, Blessed be the name of the Lord.
0:41.4	Praise be God to the greater glory of God.
0:43.8	Have you ever wondered about that when bad things happen?
0:47.0	When something comes across in life that's really hard, and there's a lot of suffering,
0:51.6	why do some of the great holy men and women of God say, Blessed be the name of the Lord?
0:56.2	Praise be to God.
0:57.2	How is God praised?
0:58.2	How is he glorified by the destruction of something beautiful?
1:03.6	Maybe it's, in this case, the Polish priest, the beautiful stations of the cross, but maybe
1:07.2	it's a certain project we're working on.
1:10.4	Maybe it's a certain dream we have for our family and it's destroyed.
1:13.3	Why would someone say, Praise be to God?
1:15.3	Blessed be the name of the Lord.
1:17.5	Maybe it's a health issue.
1:19.0	Someone loses their health, or they lose a job, or they lose the opportunity for a promotion.
