0:21.2	To really enter into Christ's Passion, it comes at the very beginning of Holy Week each

0:26.8	You know the story.
0:27.8	It's a story known as Palm Sunday.
0:29.8	It's that famous scene when Jesus is approaching Jerusalem.
0:33.2	He's coming over the Mount of Olives just to the east of Jerusalem and the people see
0:37.7	him and they're waving palm branches and they're laying their garments before him and they're
0:41.8	singing Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
0:47.4	There's such a warm reception and they're treating him like a king.
0:52.1	But if we've been paying attention to the life of Jesus in the gospel story, we should
0:56.4	be asking a question here, why are they treating him like a king?
1:01.2	That wasn't supposed to happen.
1:03.4	You see, way back in Matthew chapter 16, when Jesus was up in a place called Cesare of
1:08.2	Olipi, he revealed himself to the Apostles.
1:11.4	He said, yes, I am the Messiah.
1:13.2	Peter was the first one to say, you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and Jesus
1:16.8	accepts that title, but he tells them, shh, don't tell anyone.
1:21.4	Accept that down the down low, don't tell anyone that I am the king.
1:25.7	Now, that seems kind of surprising.
