Hey friends, welcome back to the Speak Easy podcast. We took last week off because I was in Disney World with my family and it was fantastic. We had the best freaking trip. I totally understand why people become Disney people. But we, I like went completely dark. I think this is the most offline. I've been in a hot minute. There was no scheduled posts, no stories.

I didn't send a newsletter.

I didn't even put out a podcast because I didn't want any brain space going to like,

oh, did this go out on time or was this done?

No, like completely off the grid.

And I do think that that helped contribute to why it was such a fantastic trip.

But I am excited to be back.

And I'm coming back with a heavy hitter guest and a highly requested subject matter.

Addison Bevere has actually been on the show to talk about this subject matter before.

And that is prayer.

He put out a book in 2023 Words with God. It's fantastic. Cannot recommend enough. It will really,

I think it will radically change your view of prayer and relationship and communication with the Lord.

But this is a passion for Addison.

And so his research and depth into this subject didn't stop when his book came out.

And so he spent the last two and a half years.

He's now at like something like five to seven years of really leaning in an understanding prayer on a biblical

theological, theological, spiritual, neurological, scientific, biological, like he hits

every plane of understanding.

And he's such a great communicator.

He's a bevere.

So like, it's in his blood.
