I want to create this episode specifically as a follow-up to the last episode

called Glossing Over the First Detail in an Argument will make it fall apart fast.

And that episode, if you didn't hear it yet, is about when you're in the argument

and somebody brings up something like, hey, you know, that really hurt what you just said.

Or that feels really disrespectful.

And instead of talking about how disrespect is a bad thing, it gets glossed over or

invalidated.

And when that happens, that can really squash the first and sometimes most important point

that somebody is trying to make.

Like, hey, what you're doing is hurting me.

This is what you're doing.

This is what I'm feeling.

This is what I'm going through.
