There's something I want to talk about today, but in probably just a handful of moments, we're going to hear a jet roll down the runway and take off. I'm

walking near the airport which is one of my favorite places to walk and I don't

know why but actually I do know why because I just love it every time a jet takes off

I can't not look if I'm walking near the airport and can see the runway,

and it looks like they're powering up those engines,

and I have an app on my phone, and once the plane is airborne,

I'll be able to see where it's headed.

So I'm going to pull that app up. And I can see the jet now.

It's really kind of cool walking near the airport. I'm on the backside of the airport.

And I can see the terminal. I can see pretty much the entire length of the runway. The airport only has one runway.

And the jet is now airborne in just a moment it will

show up on my app which is flight aware in case you're wondering I can tap the plane

outline of a plane and it'll show me where it's going. And at any point during the flight,

I can actually see where that jet is on its flight, how high it is, how fast it's going.

And there it is. It's a little green, lime green icon of a plane and it is going to Charlotte.

It's an American Airlines flight to Charlotte and it'll take less than an hour.

So that's always fun.
