So that's about it. This week, I'm going to be talking about the role that our imagination

plays in helping us develop new ways of acting in the world, but just how influential images are in our behavior.

If you closed your eyes and just visualized a lemon and imagined the yellow skin and imagine

holding it in your hands and then putting it on a cutting board. And if you imagined,

visualized what it would look like if you had a cutting knife and you cut the

lemon in half and the juice ran onto the cutting board and then you took one of the pieces

of lemon up to your nose and smelled it and then squeezed it a bit onto your tongue and tasted the kind

of zesty, I don't know if that's the right word, but flavor, citrusy flavor. And you probably

would have a small reaction in your body as if you actually had literally held a lemon

in your hand and literally it tasted it. So you might actually have the salivary response. You might

actually have the your taste buds might almost feel like they tasted it maybe your jaw

would slightly act as if you were swallowing and that wasn't just imagination that's actually how

we understand anything in life is when we conjure an internal
