Summary

Most entrepreneurs get stuck at 7 figures.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to get those entrepreneurs the resources they need to get to 8 and 9 figures. In this podcast, I explain how we can best help you on your road to $1M.

Not all brands have the potential to go to $10M and beyond, but as an investor I have learned what to look for. Whether you are looking to raise capital to scale faster or not, the criteria I share in this podcast will help you build a brand that can go beyond 8-figures.

Most entrepreneurs get stuck at seven figures, but an eight-figure business is totally possible

0:09.5

if you follow this playbook. I had a massive mindset shift a few months ago that changed the way

0:14.5

that I will do business for the next five years. I had Dan Martel here on the podcast at

0:19.3

Capitalism.com, and he talked about being the 10.0

0:22.9

version of yourself and casting goals and visions from that 10.0 version of yourself.

0:28.4

I can think of times where I felt like the 10.0 version of myself, and if I was that person

0:33.2

all the time, I would set very different goals than the neurotic person who wakes up feeling chaotic

0:39.2

and worried that everything is going to crumble. So when I thought about the 10.0 version of

0:43.8

myself casting goals, one of the things that I wrote down was that I wanted to build a $100 million

0:48.7

fund. I run an investment fund that invests in e-commerce brands. I get really excited about investing in the businesses that come from this community,

0:59.4

meaning the clients that I have at capitalism.com, the people who are on my email list,

1:03.4

the people who watch my videos.

1:05.0

I get so jazzed about the fact that somebody will launch a business after reading my book,

1:10.3

after watching our content,

1:12.0

and then I can come in and invest in them and advise them to $10 million and we can have a

1:17.2

ridiculous exit and we all party together. That is so cool. That is so much fun. In fact,

1:24.4

it's one of the most enjoyable and one of the most meaningful things that I can

1:28.3

think about doing with my time. So when I think about the 10.0 version of myself, I think about

1:34.1

building that part of my business to $100 million. And when I had that thought, I realized I needed

1:40.1

to restructure the way that I do deals. I also needed to prepare the people in our community

1:47.1

and the people who watch our content to be able to have that type of scalability. Because I teach people

1:54.1

how to build million dollar businesses and I get excited about coming and partnering with them
