oftentimes we just assume that everyone that we're speaking to on social media or through a podcast or through an email is like all caught up like they know the origin story they know the background I'm not going to go into my whole origin story

Just because that would be very long but I was reminded from one of my friends that there are new people coming into my world every single day.

Not everybody knows all of the shit

that I've been through and have had to overcome.

And I'm gonna use this as an opportunity

to talk about what changed that allowed me to finally maintain the results that I've been able to maintain.

So background is I spent the better part of a decade gaining and losing and gaining and losing and it was incredibly frustrated and it landed me in a very dark place

horrible relationship with food, body dysmorphia, horrible relationship with exercise and my body, wanting to hate myself lean, it impacted my relationships with my family with my loved ones like it was just

not fun and not productive and not healthy and I kept myself in that cycle in the Diet hamster wheel for way too long.

There was a shift that had to happen in order for me to reach my goals and maintain them,
