the thought of ejecting never even crossed my mind at the time because it all happened within

fractions of seconds you know and the mishap happening my reaction time the engines you know

spooling up to full power when they did all those little minor miracles that had to happen to keep me alive and

keep the airplane in the air or like back in the air.

We're pretty crazy but I never thought about ejecting at the time.

little background in aviation myself being an air traffic controller for 11 years

but for this conversation I got to talk shop I got my man Josh Cabo Gunnerson Josh welcome to the show brother.

very excited I would say since I've been a kid I've nerdly just been really like I just

geek out on aviation whenever I see an airplane fly by I'm like oh my God I just

stop and stare I had literally still watch airplanes like to this day from my place here in downtown

San Diego like land and take off and it's just like super fascinating to me even at age

38 dude so thank you for coming I'm excited it's yeah

I think aviation is one of those things even if you understand like you're back on

air traffic control or flying when you see an airplane flying there's something

magical and when it's especially when it's like little kids
