Welcome back to another Ask Coach Heather episode.

I am your coach Heather and I am thrilled to be here with you just to recap on my story

for those of you who might have missed it.

I struggled with being obese as a child into my teen years, did drastic dieting, spent

a decade, yo-yo dieting, binge eating, losing all the weight, gaining all the weight back.

In my 30s, had my first son ultimately topped the scale at over 300 pounds the heaviest

I had ever been, decided I wanted to have a different life, wanted to be a different

role model for my kids than what I was being.

I started down the path of doing things completely differently by focusing on the end, the maintenance

part of my journey.

And by thinking about how am I going to do things differently this time, keep the weight

off for the long term and knocking it back.

I was super good at losing weight and I'm sure most of you can think of times in your

life where that's maybe been you.

You're good at signing up for the program, buying the book, following the rules until you're

not, and then you end up gaining all the weight back.

And usually for me, it was more because in the course of a year, I'm sorry, in the course

of 10 years from 20 to 30, I cycled from as low as 220 all the way up to 320.

So I was super good at losing and then gaining more, losing and then gaining more.

And I just decided I wasn't going to do it anymore.
