Hey everyone this is Kurt Franklin with leading Saints and we're just a few days out from the young Saints virtual conference and we're working hard here at home base of leading Saints. I've actually got my two kids here in my home office one's dressed like Spider-Man the other

is is playing with a bucket of Legos but hey we got to get stuff done you know and

what we got to get done today is I want to share with you another clip from the

upcoming Young Saints virtual conference.

You see there's so many dynamic presenters and speakers that we're going to learn from during

this conference and I know because I've recorded most of them and there you're going to love it.

But there's also four professors at Brigham Young University who's done some remarkable research as it relates to

Latter-day Saint Youth. And so there's these four presentations. I wanted to publish

them or some of them on the Leading Saints podcast feed but after reviewing them there's just so much data

and visual graphs and whatnot that it was just didn't translate well to to audio so I'm

going to share a clip here but but this alone, these four presentations alone should

and he discusses the positive impact that they found Sabbath day observance has

for for Latter-day Saint Youth and he talks us through that.

The study that I was involved in and helped conduct,

we wanted to see if we could find is did or does private religious behavior have any impact on anxiety?

And we looked at a lot of variables and one of the things that we found that was fascinating to me anyway.

The stronger and the more you value the Sabbath day in our study and the more you lived and keep the Sabbath

holy, you reported less anxiety symptoms on our anxiety scale.
