Well, hello there. It's Morgan here and welcome to today's episode. Today I want to talk about how does

0:07.3

courage play a role in letting go? So if there's something in your life that you're just thinking,

0:15.1

I think I need to let this go or I'm trying to let it go. How does courage play a role in that? And I want to talk about this

0:25.1

through a very particular lens that is super specific and it may even seem a little bit random,

0:33.0

but as I spent the past few months really looking at this one particular thing and figuring out

0:40.2

why it didn't work for me, it helped me discover some new things about letting go and why it's so

0:49.3

difficult to let go. And this sort of random thing that I'm talking about is something that happens on social

0:57.0

media. So for context, if this is your first time listening, I am an artist and a writer and the way that

1:03.7

I share my work and what I create, which is like a lot of other people, is have social media accounts and I share my work and I

1:26.3

I follow a lot of people who talk about similar things.

1:32.2

And I've been noticing a trend over the past year. And I want to preface this by saying, I don't

1:37.5

think this is wrong. I think that it's actually very healthy and it can be very liberating.

1:47.1

However, I just realized that it didn't work for me. And I just want to share what didn't work and then what did work and how that all ties into

1:52.8

letting go. And it's this concept around niching down or not needing to have a niche.

2:00.4

I've been seeing a trend over the past year where a lot of

2:03.4

people have talked about not having a niche and just sharing a wide range of things. And again,

2:11.4

I don't think there's anything wrong with this. I think it is very, very healthy to evaluate the ways in which you are sharing things and what

2:20.8

kinds of things you're sharing, what kind of pressure you might be putting on yourself,

2:24.5

how you can take that pressure off of yourself. I think that is so important. However,

2:29.1

when I started hearing all of this, my first thought was, oh, yeah, I love this. Like, this is great. I,
