| 0:59.2 | So what is bluffing? Bluffing is a threat to do something that you don't plan on doing. So let me give you a non-negotiation |

If I'm walking down the street and somebody says, hey, I'm going to punch you in the face, and I say no, you're not, and then the person says, yeah, you're right, I'm not going to do that. That would be a bluff. The person told me they were going to do something and they didn't follow through. |

| 1:31.9 | And I say, no, you're not. |
| 1:34.1 | And then they punched me in the face. |

| 1:40.0 | So essentially, a bluff is another version of a lie. |
| 1:43.8 | So the reason why bluffing is effective is because it creates pressure on the other side. |
