Most people think finding a co-founder is about the search, about pitching somebody on your

business, the perfect person at the right moment. Here's my advice. Stop looking. I know that sounds

like the wrong thing to say at the start of an episode about how to find one, but stay with me.

The people who go looking almost always get it wrong because they treat it as a hiring decision

and it's something completely different than hiring a team member.

I knew my co-founder for years before I saw what was right in front of me.
