Well, hello there. It's Morgan here and welcome to today's episode. Today I'm going to be talking about

how can you eliminate distraction to encourage the process of illumination. And yes, you heard that right,

the process of illumination. So you may be familiar with the idea of the process of elimination,

which is a method that you can use to exclude certain things.

It's like a form of testing to try to delete options along the way in pursuit of narrowing your options.

So one obvious example of this is if you're taking a test and there's A, B, C, or D that will look like

eliminating, well, B is definitely not it and D is not it so now it's between a and c so that's what

distraction so if you're anything like me i I get distracted. And I really wish I could

remember where I read this. I read this somewhere and I just, it just stuck with me forever.

And they were talking about the, they were talking about distraction. And they were saying that,

you know, people tend to be so serious. Well, oh, don't get distracted. Don't get distracted. But

that's actually very primal for distraction at times because it's like, it's being able to see

something in your peripheral view might save your life. So not all distractions are bad. And of course,

there's a lot more to unpack there when you consider neurodivergence.

I have ADHD myself. So I am definitely not saying that I have all the answers for eliminating

all distractions. However, what I have observed within myself is that there are some things that

just distract me more than others. And I feel like there's some obvious things out there like social media.

I want to get into the more subtle distractions.

And a lot of it has to do with the distractions around other good ideas.
