This is something that I have shared publicly and poetically

in my work for the past few years,

because it's something that just in my own personal life,

it's something I've been working through and working with.

And I say working with because whenever I start to think of an

idea of something that I want to try to make more sense of in my life, I start to think about,

okay, I got to get this out of thinking about it and I have to figure out how to

apply this. And that takes a few steps for me. That takes a number of steps. The movement from

thinking into doing something is something that takes me some time.

So poetry and art end up being a place that helps me work with a phrase or even just a word,

even just the word, breathe or pace yourself.

The task of writing those letters through an abstract painting is a lesson within itself.

So I spend a lot of time thinking at times much more than I want to, but it's just sort of how things are for me.

And then I spend this time working those words into the landscape of life and trying to at least.

And art ends up being a place for me to do that.
