Hey everybody, welcome back. I have become a podcasting maniac recently, inspired to record often. And I have

another good one for you here today with my old friend and colleague Sabato Segaria. Sabato and I,

as you'll hear, used to work together at the Little Nell Hotel, where he was the director of food

and beverage. And for those that listened Nell Hotel, where he was the director of food and beverage.

And for those that listened to episode one, where we talked to Carlton McCoy about what it

takes to be a master Somalié, well, Savito was his boss. And since leaving the hotel, I've followed

his career closely. And he really is a renaissance man in the world of hospitality,

food and beverage, and restaurants, not only on the business side, but in operations.

He's also a master Somalié himself, so he's a true overachiever, a true winner, and somebody

who I'm proud to have a relationship with.

He talks to us a lot in this episode about how the coronavirus has impacted the restaurant

business and what we can do and gives us a good idea of just how important this industry

is to our economy, not only in dollar terms and employment statistics,

but also on a human level. So I appreciate Savito for those insights. Of course, this is not

ultra content. I apologize for those of you who are anticipating that. Of course, this podcast I'm hoping will be

different, you know, I'm sure it's not great for developing an audience to bounce around to

different subjects the way that I do, but it's what keeps me motivated and interested in recording.

And it's a good way for me to tap the people in my

network who have expertise in different things and helps us all sort of branch out a little bit. So I am

happy that some of you are joining me on that journey, even when we're not talking about running.
