Take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence

around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Josea, chapter 6, verse 6.

Where I desire faithful love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

Divine love, you have created us to be in relationship with you, to know you and love you

and be loved by you. What a gift. What a simple command. What freedom from the long list of things I impose on myself for self-improvement and self-betterment.

Thank you for your everlasting love and for choosing me to be your loved one.
