Fond memories of the past can be a gift when they help inform our desire for goodness in the

present. But what happens when a deep sense of nostalgia

sets up unrealistic expectations?

As we pass one super holiday Thanksgiving and then look forward to Christmas in a matter of weeks,

Becky and I thought it was a good idea to engage that old notion that prevention is better than cure.

And if we can help you think through some of the unique struggles of this holiday season,

it's not going to alleviate them for you, but it might help you engage them in a way that

keeps you from some of the disasters that we have
