Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner has resigned

One cop cops are funny guys said it's because you called him finner the Spinner because he was spinning the news.

No, that's not why.

There are other reasons at play that I cannot discuss at this point.

The problem is, and this sounds grotesque because it's clearly bragging, but it's to give you an understanding, I get aggravated when people question things that I know behind the scenes because I never

tell you everything I know and I never break knows. So by the time the news breaks I

let other people do that because sometimes the person that's

is sometimes the person that's telling me is an executive assistant chief or their

driver or the guy who works as their aide to camp or the sergeant that was passed over but works in the

adjoining office and overheard the phone conversation or the fill in the blank

police review board or the I-A-D-member or on and on and on.

People think I just have contacts with HPOU.

I fully understand HPOU is one source,

but most of the time they have to get their information from someone else in the

department as well. When you nurture your sources and you never once burn them

you'd be shocked how much people tell me some of these people who I

know for a fact hate me but they want the information out on the person who burned them, who passed them over for a promotion or burned them at IAD.

For instance, I get a message late last night.

Did you know that the chief of police has three drivers,

one of whom has made $200,000 in overtime in the last three years. How are you getting overtime?

We got three drivers. Did you know the chief has four cars?
