1 peter chapter 1. As pastor jack mentioned with that highlight, we are living in some wild days

where on one day it seems that the entire world is on the brink of war and then the next day they're

talking about peace just to find out that the next day we're back at it. And so the question is in

these wild days, how should we be living? How should you be living?

And how should I be living? Yes, as a congregation, as a group, absolutely. But even more so,

I want to kind of zoom in and ask the question, how should you be living in these days? And how

should I be living in these days? And that's what Peter is going to

talk to us about in 1 Peter chapter 1. Beginning in verse 13, I'd like to invite you guys to stand as we

read God's word together. We're going to read from verse 13 down to verse 19. I will take the odds

if you take the evens.

Peter says this.

He says, therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully

upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

As a media of children, not conforming yourselves to the Lord. brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.

And if you call on be holy, cry, and holy.

And if you call on the Father, who, without partiality, judges, according to each one's work,

conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear. Knowing that you were not convened with corruptful things like a sword or bold,

from your name is not.

To seek by tradition of your father.

As of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
