Hey freaks. All right, let me just explain what happened. So a couple days ago, my big

ass external hard drive started like disconnecting from my computer at weird times. I kept getting

like notifications like, hey, this USB thing was removed.

You should really not do that.

It could hurt your data.

Now, this drive has every single episode of DV, not just like the MP3 files, but like the project files. With all the different tracks, they're usually like a gig or two, and there are thousands of these files,

right? So I got a little concerned. I don't want to lose those things. So I did a backup, but I thought,

you know, it's time I start taking my data archival seriously. And I got a, uh, I set up a raid system,

which is like a bunch of hard drives together.

And it like copies the data on all the different hard drives.

So if one fails, you know, you'll still have a copy.

All right.

Well, whatever.

The problem occurred when I needed to transfer all 8 plus terabytes of data to this new network storage thing.

It started off okay, but because there was so much data needing to be transferred and because

it's a new system and it needed to be initialized and all that other crapola, it was going to

take about like 20 hours to complete.

And it wasn't going to be a problem.

It wasn't going to affect my show because it wasn't even really connected to my computer.

It's, you know, it's network storage.

So I set it up in the corner of my office far away from from my computer, so it could quietly do its thing.

Fast forward to last night, slash early this morning, where I began to hear a faint beeping sound.
