Are you ever too scared to look at something?

Now, what do I mean by being scared to look at something?

I have two different kind of recent stories that come to mind that are evidence and a good example of being scared to turn away just from a temporary fact.

Okay, a friend of mine returned from from a temporary fact.

OK, a friend of mine returned from vacation

and she was scared to look at her credit card statement.

She was scared to do a full evaluation of her savings,

debt owed, current checking, the amount that's in there,

and kind of what's in the pipeline for her

in terms of bonuses with her job etc.

So she is not alone in doing this.

Okay?

Often we hide away from, we shy away from actually just looking at the data, right?

So numbers on a screen, numbers in a letter that comes through the mail right telling you how much you owe on your American Express,

instead of actually looking at the numbers and deciding you know where to from here, just looking at them with even a sense of neutrality,

it's very easy to just shut it down, right, to put it away, to not look to pretend as if it's not happening. The same thing happened with a friend of

mine earlier this year who has been focusing so much on her business and business growth

that she's been neglecting taking care of herself and her body,

and she told me that she's scared to go to the doctor because she doesn't want a weigh-in.

She doesn't have a scale at home, she doesn't want to deal with it, but she knows it's going to be

heavier than her last
