You mentioned Benny Gantz now resigned from the cabinet.

Who is he?

And how do we regard Benny Gantz in this war fighting now that he stepped away. I believe he's he was

Benny Gans who visited Washington during these last months. Who is he Jonathan?

Sure Benny Gantz is a former chief of staff of the Israel Defense Force and so he's a celebrated war

fighter who is a centrist politician in Washington who controls I believe it's eight can asset seats not enough to

topple the Netanyahu government but he several weeks ago made a demand of

Netanyahu that he articulate a sort of forward leaning vision for the future of

Gaza after the war and he wanted a plan for how Israel was going to get the hostages back and he wanted a plan for how Israel was going to win the war.

Nisenyahu did not give him satisfactory answers on any of those things and so he had planned to resign on

Saturday but that's when the hostage rescue operation took place and so what that

meant was that it was really an inopportune time he would be fighting And so

But the following day on Sunday he did make his announcement that he would be leaving.
