but the lips of the wise will preserve them.
Vs. 7-9 - Leave the presence of a fool,

8 The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way,
but the folly of fools is deceiving.
9 Fools mock at the guilt offering,
but the upright enjoy acceptance.
Vs. 15 -18 - The simple believes everything,

18 The simple inherit folly,
but the prudent are crowned with knowledge
Vs 24 - The crown of the wise is their wealth,
but the folly of fools brings folly.
Vs 29 - Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding,
but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

but it makes itself known even in the midst of fools.

| 0:00.0 | Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. I want to start out today by reminding |
| 0:07.8 | you coming up this Friday is another of our prey together episodes. And I've noticed |
| 0:14.0 | in the stats that those episodes are not listened to as much as these daily mindset episodes. |
| 0:19.5 | I kind of understand that they are longer episodes, sometimes almost an hour long and they are |
| 0:24.6 | nothing fancy. Just simply me praying and you joining me to pray for the needs people |
| 0:29.8 | have submitted, but I won't encourage you. Try to pray with me on those episodes. Try |
| 0:34.4 | to listen and you can do it and invite sized chunks if you need to, but those episodes |
| 0:38.8 | are so important. So many needs being expressed and so many opportunities for us to come |
| 0:44.1 | alongside each other as believers in Christ. If you have a request you'd like to submit |
| 0:49.5 | for this Friday or a praise that we could share with you, go to carrygreen.com slash prayer |
| 0:56.0 | that link is also in the description of this episode. Okay, today, we're going to be |
| 1:00.5 | talking about foolishness. Solomon majors on this point. He talks about the wise versus |

| 1:12.7 | seven through nine, verses 15 through 18, verse 24, verse 29, and verse 31. And we're going |
| 1:17.7 | to do our best to get through all of those. I'm just going to read them all so that we |
| 1:21.6 | at least can have them out there and then we'll go back and talk about them. Verse three, |
| 1:25.6 | by the mouth of a fool comes a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will preserve |
| 1:31.3 | them. verses 7 through 9, leave the presence of a fool. For there you do not do not meet |
| 1:37.8 | words of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of |
| 1:42.5 | fools is deceiving. Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance. |
| 1:50.5 | Verse 15 through 18, the simple believes everything but the prudent gives thought to his steps. |
