Welcome back, my friends. It is time for you and me to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God. If you are new to the morning mindset, I want to welcome you. My name is

Carrie Green. I am a retired pastor, but I'm continuing to teach the Word of God here

on the morning mindset. Today, we're going to be looking at the issue of devious dealings

that were devious is not one we hear a lot, but we know what it means. It means deceitful.

Someone who's tricky, someone who's evenly trying to manipulate things in their direction.

We're going to get into that in just a moment. But I want to thank you and encourage you

regarding what you as listeners have been doing through not a needy person. This is a

There are many people who have been helped, many people who continue to be helped, and

Today, we're going to be looking at four verses from Proverbs chapter 14, verses 2, 5,

8, and 25. They all have this theme of the person who is devious or deceitful. Let's

begin reading. Verse 2, Whoever walks in uprightness fears the Lord, but he who is devious in his ways

despises him. Verse 5, a faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.

Okay, lying devious, deceitful, same concept. Verse 8,

The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving. Again,

deceit. Verse 25, A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful.

So you see at the heart of all four of these verses is this issue of being dishonest.

And doing so for the sake of tricking people or manipulating people into a certain course of action,
