I'm Harrison Valentine riding solo today. First and foremost, hope everybody is safe and made it through

Hurricane Francine. I know those of us in Baton Rouge were a little west of the worst of it. So obviously

thinking of our friends down I-10 toward New Orleans and hoping everybody

is okay. All right. So no Hester today. I would expect him to join us in the future. But today,

I just wanted to hop on and talk about what we've seen through two weeks. What's worked,

what needs to improve, et cetera, et cetera. Obviously, LSU sits at one-on-one,

heading into week three, and an early but consequential matchup with South Carolina. A place

the Tigers have not been since 2008, which is hard to imagine. College game day will be there,

11 a.m. kickoff.

The weather might be suspect.

So lots of storms, I guess you could say, no pun intended, to weather for LSU,

and lots of external distractions to block out before boot meets ball in what really is an underrated environment for college football.

South Carolina fans are as loyal as they come to packing Williams-Brice.

So it should be a fun atmosphere, a good test, but obviously a really important one.

Because if you look at the schedule, this game could be a springboard for LSU

to really get rolling. A lot of winnable games after this one before you host Ole Miss in mid-October.

So a win here could be huge and a loss here could be huge. So a lot on the line here early in
