Welcome and Tiger fans, another week of hearing voices.

More importantly, another week of LSU Fighting Tiger football, and it's the SEC opener.

It happens to be on the road.

It happens to be the site of college game day this week.

Pretty big deal going on in Columbia, South Carolina. When the Tigers come to town, it's an early start with a 12 noon eastern 11 central.

They'll kick it off between the Gamecocks and Tigers. Not a ton of meetings between these two schools, and it's been a while since 2008 that LSU has made the trek to the Palmetto State.

But it's an important game, obviously, for Coach Brian Kelly and his squad and a huge game for the homestanding Gamecocks.

On this show, each and every week, we try to introduce you to some of the voices that bring college sports alive.

And I'm thrilled this week to be joined on the show by the voice of the Gamecox since 2003,

former Gamecock quarterback, still probably has a few records there at Carolina.

And as I said, this seems like at least for LSU is a big game.

I imagine it's the same feeling there in Columbia.

Yeah, no question about it.
