Summary
As a teenager, Lafayette left his home in France to join the American Revolution, becoming one of George Washington's most trusted generals and helping to secure France's help in the struggle for freedom. But that was only the beginning for Lafayette, who ended up spending the remainder of his life fighting for Frances ultimate freedom- which did not come quickly or without years of turmoil.
