I'm so excited about today's episode because we are going to be chatting it up with one of my best friends,

Sandra Martinez. We all know her as BB and I have had many conversations with BB about the work

that she does because she is a social worker in one of the hospitals here in the Bronx.

And she's always telling me these stories about things that happen to her elderly patients when

it comes to care. And a lot of this stuff kind of scares me and we speak about it a lot just like

making sure that we're planning as much as possible for the medical coverage that we're going to

be having when we retire because there's a lot that most people don't know.

And so I was like, we have to bring you on the podcast to talk about this stuff because I mean,

it was shocking to me some of the stuff that happens to older people when they need more than

like just a normal care. So we're going to be diving into a lot with her today. Yeah, I mean,

I think many of us assume that the government will have our back when we get older.

And I honestly was shocked by this conversation. It's changing my whole outlook on retirement and

like what I need to do specifically to live. Now I see how people end up staying at jobs

because many of these government jobs will give you that kind of guaranteed health care. But yeah,

I mean, it's insane. Y'all like the amount of money and BB is works in New York City. So that's
