So anyways, Ryan, when did we first meet?

We met back in 2016 on that famous day that you said was the first day of your Amazon

private label journey

at the Zon Squad live event in Chicago. Yep, yep, Zon Squad Live. I met tons of people that day

and that weekend that have remained friends to this day. And it's kind of cool to be keeping

contact with you. Now, what I always like to start out the episode with is the origin story. So I know you currently live in Vegas. Now, were you born and raised in Vegas? Yes, I was. Okay. And did you go directly to college after high school? Yep. I went to Pepperdine in Malibu. Oh, Pepper. So you came out here to college. I did. I did. Yes. Took some surfing class there. It's pretty fun. Now, surfing wasn't

your major, though, right? No. What was your major? A major was an international business.

Oh, nice. That was one of my majors in my junior college. Cool. So you might be one of the first

people who kind of has a major that applies a little bit to the Amazon and e-commerce world. So that's kind of cool.
