Summary

Pain is one of the #1 reasons people go to see the doctor these days. But aside but over the counter anti-inflammatory drugs, benzodiazepine based muscle relaxants, or opiate based pain meds, modern pharmaceutical and allopathic medicine has very little to offer for the treatment of pain.Β

And unfortunately people think plants are just kind of "cute" when it comes to treating pain.

But the truth is that we can doΒ so much moreΒ with our plants to treat the pain response that most pills can. From anti-spasmodics and nervine hypnotics, to inflammation modulating remedies and anodynes, plants are gifted in the ways they work on broad spectrum physiological processes that are responsible for pain.
