When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherd said to one another,

let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us.

And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the baby lion in a manger.

When they were, they were to know what she was said about this

and all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them but Mary treasure the body of things pondering them at her heart

and the shepherds returned glorifying and praising god for all they had heard and seen as it had been told them. This is the word of the Lord.

Thanks be to God. How awesome was that? That's pretty sick. Like what am I supposed to do now?

Do you want me to just pray and let us get out of here? That's the way it feels to me. Hey, let's start this way.

I know where we've got is to 48 hours and it's on us. And I know there's probably a mixed bag of

emotions going into the next couple of weeks or the next couple of days. And like I know we are hosting this year, so we'll

have like close to 30 people at our house, which is, I mean, we don't have a large house. And so

we were trying to play Tetris when I was on my way out and feeling the weight of like, now,

by the grace of God, we like most of those 30 people that are coming to the house

and if they're listening I'll let them figure out who is who but um like that that just is a like do we have enough food do we have enough space do we have enough how's this going to work how's this

um and what I don't want to happen today is for all that you might still have yet to do

or some anxiety about the next couple of days to have you miss what God has for you this morning

because you're not present but in those spaces that you need to get some things done.

That would be a really terrible waste of time this morning.

And so I want us to just go right at it because God says we have to come like they,
