The Bert Show. It's fun when there's drama in your neighborhood when it doesn't include you.

I mean, that is the one place you should be able to drive up. You see your driveway.

That is your comfort spot, your safe spot, right? But when there is drama in the neighborhood around you, that's the fun stuff.

Because now you get to tailgate. Get the popcorn out, check out what's going on, what's happening?

But now I feel like I might have to get involved.

So my neighborhood, for as long as I've lived there, and I grew up in this neighborhood, has been a peaceful neighborhood.

The HOA, they get along, we do the quarterly meetings.

It's just a peaceful, calm neighborhood.

But now everything has changed.

So a few weeks ago, we get our little notification, hey, time to have an HOA meeting.

And I've been telling myself I'm going to go to one of these things.

But because everything's been fine, I'm like, no need to go.

So I ignore that notice.

I don't go to the meeting.

Then days later, I get another letter saying,

hey guys, we have some unresolved things that we need to address. We're going to have an emergency

meeting to go, you know, follow up with what we didn't get to in the first meeting. What a hassle,

man. I mean, you've got so many meetings to go to, so much drama going on, like at work and

other parts of your life. The last thing you want to have to do is double up on meetings for where

you live, you know? Exactly. So I'm like, hmm, maybe this is serious. Maybe I should go. Nah,

I don't go. So then after this meeting happens, the day passes.

A couple of days later, I get a letter that is taped to my door.
