have a very special guest for you. She's going to be sharing her journey about surviving

post-separation abuse, all the other, all the other just intertwining things about narcissistic

abuse. So Hedia is a full-time teacher, part-time comedian, sharing lessons and putting on a show both in the classroom and on stage.

She's taking her pain and turning it into purpose and punchlines.

And she's here to talk about post-separation abuse, toxic relationship dynamics, and all kinds of things like that.

Welcome to the show, Ms. Hedji. How are you doing today? Well, thank you so much for having me. I'm super excited. It's been a long time coming, really. Yeah, we've been following each other for years on social media. Years. You taught me everything I know. Years. It's wild. I was like, damn, we've been following children for a long time on social media and whatnot, right? So tell us a little bit about yourself. And I'll get your intro and whatnot, but go between the lines and whatnot. Let's see. Where do I start? So I am a kindergarten teacher. You know, it's hard for me. I mean, I was a first grade teacher,

and then with everything that I experienced, allegedly, the post-separation abuse and everything,

I actually left. And then I recently decided to come back to teaching last school year. So it's

kind of been a healing experience for me. You know, I've been taking my

power back and just gone back to teaching. It's do stand-up comedy on the side, so every month I

produce a comedy show called Heckling Hand Comedy for a Cause, where there's a different cause

every month that we raise money for, so it's just a way to bridge together philanthropy, but also comedy.

I found a lot of healing through comedy and laughter. And so it's my way to give back. And actually,

this month is January is Stocking Awareness Month. You know, that's a cause that's deeply personal

to me right now. And so we're raising money for Spark, which is the stalking prevention awareness and resource

center.

They're doing a lot of great work in talking about such a stigmatized, misunderstood subject

that is tied very closely to post-separation abuse and toxic relationships and all that good

stuff.

I didn't know. I've never heard a spark before. That was interesting you.
