My best friend of over 20 years is considering getting a divorce from her husband and I'm

just beside myself. I've known both of them for so long and I just can't imagine them

apart. I'm known her husband for just as long as I've known her. And let me tell you,

he is one of the kindest, most caring and attentive people I've ever met. He truly loves

her with all his heart and does everything in his power to make her happy. He brings her

breakfast and beds, surprises her with little gifts, always makes time for a date night,

he's just an all around amazing person and it's so heartbreaking to see her thinking about

leaving him. My friend is a perfectionist and I think that's a big part of the problem.

She spends way too much time comparing herself to the perfect lives she sees on Instagram

and it just really messes with her head. She thinks that their life and marriage isn't

as perfect as it should be and that something is wrong with it, but in reality their life

is so much better than what she's seeing on social media. The thing is nobody's life

is perfect and that's okay. I just don't know how to approach the subject with her. I don't

want to come across as judgmental or like I'm not on her side, but I just can't sit back

and watch her make a decision that will affect the rest of her life. I want to help her

see that divorce isn't the answer and that her husband is an amazing person who truly

loves her. So I'm turning to you guys for help. Have any of you been in a similar situation?
