This month, The Awesome Marriage, we're talking about a really hard and somber topic. We're talking about divorce. So here at Awesome Marriage,

we do. We want every marriage to work, and we believe that God can make that happen, that he can

restore any marriage no matter what has happened. We've seen it happen a hundred times over.

But the ugly truth is divorce does

happen in our day and age. So although God hates divorce, he certainly does not hate divorce people,

which is why we're talking about this topic this month. And we just want to provide some gospel

centered wisdom for how to deal with it if you find yourself in this place. So today we're going to

be talking specifically about helping your kids

through divorce. So just a caveat again, and to be really clear, we're not advocating for divorce,

but we do know that some people find themselves here. And so we just want to shed some

gospel hope for those of you that find yourself there and to be there for you. And so that's

kind of where we're coming from here. So all that

being said, Dr. Kim, what are some practical ways that we can help our kids cope with divorce?

That's a great question because kids are definitely affected. They're definitely a part of it.

Sometimes I have couples or people say, oh, my kids will be okay. Yeah, maybe, but I mean, you've got to,

you've got to really do some things to help make sure that they're okay. And I think the first thing

is just being there for them, just really letting your kids know, hey, I am here. I know you're

struggling. I'm there for you. I've had kids that have told me when the parents get divorced,
