In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. On April 8th, 1966, Time Magazine released a cover that was this. Is God dead?

If you know your context of history, around 1966, you had communism, you had the Vietnam War,

you had the civil rights movement, you had the sexual revolution, you had a general sense of hopelessness and despair and pain.

And the question people were asking, is God dead?

Five years later, June 21st, 1971, this was the cover on Time magazine, the Jesus

Revolution.

From God is dead to the most noteworthy thing happening in America about being what Jesus

was doing in a group of young people.

In fact, one of the writers of Time Magazine wrote this, Jesus is alive and well and living in the

radical spiritual fervor of a growing number of young Americans who have proclaimed an extraordinary

religious revolution in his name. And I bring this up today, June 2025, because five years ago, we were in the middle of a pandemic.

George Floyd, suicidal rates on the rise, gender identity crisis, a general sense of hopelessness

and despair and depression and lack and pain. And here today, June 2025, every major news

outlet is dumbfounded by the spiritual renewal happening in the young people of our country.

Right now, there is a return to Christ among the youngest among us.

There is a return to the church like we haven't seen in years.

And we are sitting, I believe, in the middle of potentially a spiritual awakening and renewal.

And as we glimpse what God is doing in the church,

and as we stand and take our post in human history,

I believe that God is doing exactly what he says in Second Chronicles,

which says that the eyes of the Lord are ranging throughout the earth

to strengthen those whose hearts are committed to him.
