0:00.0	Amen. Well, this summer, if you're just joining us, we've been in this series through the book of Hebrews,
0:08.2	and we're parking in Hebrews chapter 11 for an entire summer because this is what is known as the Hall of Faith.
0:15.6	And the whole purpose for the writer of Hebrews in bringing up these stories from the Old Testament
0:19.6	is not to remind you of everyone who's out of your from the Old Testament is not to remind you of
0:21.0	everyone who's out of your league spiritually. It's really to remind you of the family that you belong to,
0:27.0	that you are among those who have faith and are saved, and you have a great cloud of witnesses
0:32.6	who are cheering you on in your lifelong journey of following Jesus, who have stories of the faithfulness of God
0:38.8	that are meant to fuel you right here and right now. And my hope and my prayer is that that would
0:44.7	happen today in a really special way on Pentecost Sunday. If you need a title for this sermon,
0:50.2	the title is going to be called Bold Faith Reimagined. Bold faith reimagine. And I want to
0:55.6	clarify and redefine what the words bold faith actually mean from the ultimate story of Father
1:02.4	Abraham being willing to sacrifice his son as an act of worship to God. So a moment of just straight truth-telling and clarity from the beginning. I think we have
1:16.0	some solid momentum among the people of God at Auburn Community Church. You know,
1:20.3	summer's typically a time where we sort of slow down. A lot of people go out of town,
1:25.2	college students leave, especially in a college town for us.
1:27.6	Things slow down. I know that can be true in other cities as well. And I feel like as the
1:31.8	scriptures turn to Hebrews chapter 11, spiritually speaking, that slowing down that happens lifewise
1:37.2	is not happening as we are opening the Word of God. When I was watching the gatherings of Andy
1:42.9	preaching, one of our elders who preached last week,
1:45.6	I thought to myself, I think people in our church are truly being awakened to the fact that God might have a supernatural call on their ordinary, monotonous life like never before.
1:58.4	That actually these stories are not that far removed from the daily reality
2:02.1	that you live in. It can feel that way, especially when you read this one. I think we got people
