Welcome to Through the Bible. I'm Steve Schwetz, and I'm so glad that you're here as the Bible bus navigates through the third chapter of Hebrews, and our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, points out the sights. In our journey, Dr. McGee has mentioned that the book of Hebrews introduces us to six warning signs in the Christian life. He calls these warning signs danger signals, and we learned about the first one,

the peril of drifting in chapter two. Now, our study is going to continue into chapter three,

and we're going to learn about the second danger signal, the peril of doubting. So as you listen

closely, you'll also hear Dr. McGee explain the reason why he started the tradition of reading

listener letters. And it also is the reason why he started the tradition of reading listener letters, and it also

is the reason why we continue the tradition these many years after his death. So before we get started,

Greg and I want to share some letters that we've just received and rejoice with our brothers

and sisters whose lives have been significantly changed by the Word of God.

Yes, and very few people challenge us on reading

letters anymore. I think some people used to challenge Dr. McGee, but it, I know when I listen,

you and I listen to the program every day, I look forward to hearing you read those letters.

Yeah. And we've got some great ones. And of course, it is is letter month which means you should write your letter

in this particular month and dr mcgee originally did that because more of the ebb and flow of

school and summer vacations and things like that and of year christmas and of course when we say letter

we mean tell us your story in any number of ways whether that's email

whether you post on facebook we're going to actually hear from an app user who posted feedback in

our app so that's another great way to do it yep absolutely why don't we jump in okay here's richard
