Have you ever heard the term hermeneutics?

It's a funny sounding word, isn't it? Well, welcome to Through the Bible. I'm Steve Schwetz, and in this study, our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee is going to explain the importance of hermeneutics, which is the word that describes the art and science of interpreting the Bible. Also in our time together, Dr. McGee's going to share one of his golden rules of scripture interpretation.

That's all ahead in our lesson from Hebrews chapter 3. It's going to be a great study and we'll all learn something. So stay with us.

I recently joined the Bible bus.

About three years ago, I found the station Radio Nueva Vita, and through it, found you.

I just want to say that this program blessed me

enormously because it has changed my life in every aspect. I've learned more from the Word of God

in such a short time than I would have learned in my entire life and I have learned to overcome

many obstacles. Unfortunately, there are wounds that have been there since I was a little

girl, and I have learned how to overcome all these obstacles through listening to you and knowing how God

works. I'm a contributor to the program so that you may continue to move forward, and so that many people

who live in ignorance like me may have access to soak ourselves in the word of God.

I pray they find out there is a God who loves us unconditionally. Well, thanks, Patricia.
