How are you?

I'm good.

0:20.6

I'm good. I'm married now, which is just bloody, amazing. It's such a good feeling. Yeah, super happy. You looked so well and glowy. Did you have, like, glowier even than usual. Did you have? Yeah, it was so nice. Thank you. Sadly, didn't get this weather, but it really didn't matter,

and it was just so special to have some time off after the wedding. Absolutely glorious.

0:43.7

And tell us about the wedding. We hinted at it on last week's podcast, but we thought we'd save any

details for you to chat about. How was it? How did you feel? How was all day?

0:55.1

Can you give us some of the behind the scenes juice?

0:57.7

I mean, I can give you all the behind the scenes juice.

1:00.2

I mean, what would you want to know?

1:01.4

It's a feeling I had before I did the marathon.

1:03.3

I was like, I'm either going to be so emotional and just cry the whole day

1:06.9

or just be so excited and I couldn't quite work out which one it was going to be but in the morning and like up until the end of the ceremony I was like a ball of nerves and just couldn't

1:15.6

stop crying I think at the minute at the minute I had a drink I was absolutely fine but I was way more

1:19.5

emotional than I thought I was going to be I'm not surprised like obviously weddings are emotional

1:24.3

anyway but like given that you've had to rearrange this so many times, you probably just couldn't even believe it was actually happening. I think that's what it was, Heather, you know, like getting ready. And I'd like pictured that moment, like so many times that when it was actually happening, it just felt so weird. And I was like, am I doing this right? Am I like? I think it was all those kind of nerves. And honestly, I woke up by like 5 o'clock that morning.

1:46.2

And I couldn't, I was, I thought I was going to be physically sick. I was so nervous. I think it's just such a big moment. And like, you know, your whole life, you imagine walking down the aisle and then to have had an extra year of considering that. Like, it's no wonder that you were, that you felt kind of all churned up.

2:02.2

But you relaxed, you were fine and you, yeah, but all composed when it actually came to it. Definitely. I mean, I felt it was quite funny. I mean, Charlotte, you know, because you were there, because of social distancing, we could only have 90 guests in the main room and we had to have like 10 or 15 guests in the room kind of behind the ceremony room on like a kind of like a live stream. And Charlotte, because you were a bit late to the ceremony, not you weren't late, but like you were thinking. Can I take a quick caveat? So we were like, oh, we wonder if non-Jewish weddings start on time because Jewish weddings is like a very rough start time. So we were like 10 minutes early

2:34.4

and we were the last people to arrive. We're like, ah, noted for future. But as, as me and my dad were about to go into the main room, I looked and my left hand side and Charlotte was the first person I saw and I just, I saw Charlotte and I was, oh, I just, I couldn't, I just wanted to start crying. It was so emotional.
