Summary

After his best friend Jason died in a sudden work accident, he tried to move through the grief the only way he knew how—by staying busy and not thinking too long about the empty space Jason left behind. But a few nights later, strange things began happening around the house. The television changed channels by itself, always landing on Jason’s team. The radio played the one song Jason never skipped. Then the same signs began following him outside the house.

None of it felt threatening. If anything, it felt careful, familiar, and strangely intentional. And after one vivid dream, followed by one final moment on the television, he was left wondering whether Jason had come back for a reason—and whether that reason was simply to say goodbye.
