I pretty much botched everything I did in like the couple of hours that I had my girlfriend's son this weekend, right?

And I should have learned this lesson with my own kids back in the day.

And I did learn this lesson because when I got divorced and when the kids were on my custody time initially, I just felt like I needed to do like big things to entertain them

so they would have memories. And I remember them coming over to the house and I'd be just

racking my brain. What are we going to do? Then I'd end up going to like Target and spending

a stupid amount of money on these things we could do together because they're going to have

the time of their lives when they're with their dad.

So I kind of felt the same thing with Amanda's son, Aza, this weekend.

I didn't have him but for like a couple of hours.

But I felt like, all right, this is really kind of one-on-one time with him.

And as you know, this is a kid that needs to be active all the time.

I entertain that kid far more.

It takes me more show prep time with Asa than it does for this show.

Yeah.

So Asa and Jimmy are the same age.

Aisa's about six months older than Jimmy.

But I tried to introduce Jimmy to independent play the other day.

Oh, ha ha.

Yeah, he's like independent who, independent one?

So I'm going to spend a couple of hours with him, so I got to go over the top.

So to prep for this, I go over to Target.
