Hey, Dave, did you ever get lost while walking?

The answer is, sort of.

It happened in 2015 while I was in Italy.

It was part of a tour group that spent time in Rome,

spend time in Monica Tini, which is a suburb of Florence, we spent some time in Bologna, and I did a lot of walking in all of those places.

When we were in Rome, we were there for a couple of nights. And obviously, when you're in Rome,

you're going to visit the Vatican. You're going to go in and see the Sistine Chapel. See the ceiling.

It's amazing. And we did that. And then we had a few hours before the bus went back to our hotel, which was just outside the downtown area,

maybe, I think it was two or three miles. And I had my iPhone and looked at my iPhone and saw

that I could easily walk from Rome back to the hotel, so I said to the tour guide,

Don't wait for me, I'm not going to get on the bus, I'm going to explore Rome and then walk back to the hotel.

I did not get lost.

I had an amazing time exploring Rome, saw the Spanish steps, saw that building that kind of looks like a big typewriter.

Went down an alley, found a little Italian cafe, got a piece of pizza for lunch,

and then walked home along the river.
