Hello, welcome back to another episode of Empowered Radio. I'm your host, Emma Montgomery.

Thank you guys for tuning in today. The topic we are talking about today is one that I get asked about a lot.

And it's essentially starting a diet. The majority of the women that we work with are trying to lose fat.

And with that said, a lot of the women, not all,

but a lot of them aren't in a place where they are actually ready to lose fat. And so there is what I'll call like an assessment that essentially we go through with clients to see if they're in a

spot where they are ready to enter a fat loss phase or if they need a restoration phase before that.

And this isn't because I want to slow people down or make them wait for no reason.

It's just I've seen what happens when people jump into a diet and their body is not ready.

The cut stalls, the client burns out, they get very frustrated.

The results are disappointing, if really anything.

And so nine times out of ten, it's not because the approach was wrong.

It was because the foundation wasn't ready for the deficit. So today I'm
