Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. It's time for you and me

to get our minds aligned with the truth of God for this day. I want to start out by saying thank you to some new special friends.

All right, let's dive back into Romans chapter 12. We are looking at these very

simple instructions that the apostle Paul gives at the end of chapter 12.

It's really kind of like a bullet point list of things for us to keep in mind

as believers in Jesus Christ.

In verse number 16, he says this, live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly.

Now, old-fashioned word alert. There's a word we don't use very often. The word haughty, what does that mean?

What you could think of haughty as being arrogant

or being discriminatory, someone who looks down on others for one reason or another is considered to be haughty.

So when the Apostle Paul tells us we are to live in harmony with one another.

He's pointing out with that following sentence,

Do not be haughty, but associate with a lowly.

That sometimes the reason we can't be in harmony is because somebody in the

formula or in the equation is doing something wrong. They're looking down on the

other people and that is keeping them at a distance from each other.
